The Grand Designs Live team organise two events each year, on in London and one in Birmingham. The team love numbers and statistics and love to track data year-on-year to identify any areas where the event has shortcomings, but also gather knowledge on what they are doing well.
Method
Zing conduct annual online customer experience feedback surveys with visitors to both events. These are typically 5-10 minute surveys in which the participants are incentivised to take part. We always achieve a robust sample, often with confidence intervals around or below 3% at the 95% level.
Outcome
As the Grand Designs Live team have a constant source of data from visitors, they know what show content is working well and what content isn’t working so well. This gives them confidence to make decisions which help their visitors have better experiences, but also helps the event run more efficiently.
