I joined the team just over two months ago now and how time flies…
It was nothing more than perfect timing that the position here at Zing appeared, just as I was looking to find a new challenge. After coming from a background of local government finance, NHS and mental health, it has been truly enlightening to become involved in an industry that can offer so much more variety and exciting day to day opportunities.
Working in an admin supporting role within the team – it has already been fascinating, getting to understand what actually goes on behind the scenes. I love the process of how surveys are built, the proof reading and the creative side of promotion via social media.
The stand out project for me so far, has got to be the GoGoHares Trail in Norwich – not only are we the sponsors of Lewis the Timely Hare but are also managing the monitoring of the whole event for the organisers Break.
As for spare time, what spare time? My time out of work is always filled… spending time with my family is top of the list most definitely, especially with my twin daughters. Enjoying the great outdoors when possible is also a high priority, either walking or cycling – although, this usually falls in between carrying out home improvements and renovations. I did happen to mention to the team that I quite liked baking – which certainly got everyone’s attention!
I can say I’m really enjoying working with this small but friendly, enthusiastic team who have all given me plenty of support in getting to grips with this new role. I’m very much looking forward to learning more and assisting in the delivery of future projects.
