I joined Zing in 2016 having graduated from university in 2014 with an English degree and working a brief stint in B2B journalism. I think it’s this background of studying and listening to the way people think and behave in a variety of settings that has led me into an insights career. My time at Zing has given me a heap of opportunities to learn and experience the world of research, and in 2018 I achieved the MRS Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research, which has provided me with a really good grasp of the industry that I’m already putting into practice.
Outside of work I’m an avid reader, self-confessed petrol head and lover of the outdoors. You’ll either find me on the sofa watching the F1 or out walking in the countryside with my wife and our Westie, Beans.
Favourite cuisine: Pizza (unless it’s a Sunday – then a roast trumps all)
Favourite tipple: A nice cold lager in the sunshine
Favourite book: Far too many to choose a favourite from but if I had to choose it would be Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials trilogy
Favourite place: At home: the Norfolk countryside. Abroad: Queenstown, New Zealand – a breath-taking place
Favourite film/TV show: Breaking Bad remains the greatest thing I’ve ever seen on a screen
Favourite activity: Go-karting and watching the F1
