AEO Awards 2019 – watch the video!

The AEO Awards 2019 took place last month at Grosvenor House on Park Lane.

As an event put on by the event industry for the event industry, the AEO team pulled out all the stops and made it an extremely memorable occasion.  Personally, I really enjoyed the people-watching (that’s what we do best after all) as well as looking at all the fabulous outfits people had turned up in.  OK, I also quite liked the wine.  I quite liked all the wine.

It was brilliant to see this reminder of the fab day that we had there – check out this short video to see Lisa sharing the stage with the inimitable and awesome comedian Katherine Ryan to present the award for Best Consumer Show.

The range of shows nominated highlighted the breadth and creativity of the events industry. There were some fantastic events companies and their brilliant shows nominated for that award – it was a total honour and privilege to be involved.

It was lovely to be part of recognising the tremendous amount of work that goes into putting these shows on, and we were delighted to hand the award to the amazing team at Upper St Events for their event, The Festival of Quilts.
