Hello from the new girl!

I joined Zing at the start of December 2019 and already it feels like I’ve always been here.

My role is essentially a support one – proofreading reports, making travel arrangements for the team and – crucially – making sure we don’t run out of tea.  Everyone in the team has been really generous with their time explaining how and why we do what we do and walking me through the whole process from a potential client’s initial enquiry through brief, proposal, data collection, report production and debrief.  I came from a PA/secretarial background and the research and insights industry is completely new to me.  I now have an understanding of event and exhibition KPIs and Net Promoter Scores, so at least I’ve learned something in my first month!

I’m looking forward to learning more about Zing and the projects we’re involved with.  It’s an exciting time of growth for the company and I’m fortunate to be a part of it.
