Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) is a unique event – open to both trade and public, business leaders, aviation enthusiasts and day-trippers over a seven day period.
It is the largest truly global event of its kind, attracting over 1,400 exhibitors from 55 countries covering aerospace, defence, space and security sectors showcasing and demonstrating aircraft, equipment and technologies. FIA attracts over 120,000 visitors during its five trade days and 130,000 during the weekend when the show is opened to the public.
Delivering an event that works for trade visitors, exhibitors, enthusiasts and day-trippers is a challenge in itself and so, research is a key part of the management teams’ arsenal in understanding, identifying and delivering an event that is truly all things to all men, women and children!
Zing Insights are proud to be the research provider of choice for FIA 2012; researching exhibitors, trade visitors and public visitors and guiding future strategic event development.
Zing Director, Paul Kemp said “The sheer scale of Farnborough International Airshow is a sight to behold and offers a number of challenges; not least the geographic footprint with different focal points dependent on the day of week. Our ipad research pods provide the ultimate flexible solution, we can move them wherever they will gain greatest use adapting to footfall and weather conditions and negating the requirement for stand build, power or Wifi.”
Richard Mann, Business Development Manager at Farnborough International Airshow said “Research is one of the most important things we do at Farnborough, because our top priority is listening to our customers, both trade and public. We practically build the entire show from scratch every 2 years, so the flexible research solution from Zing Insights will be crucial in getting the customer feedback we need to develop the Airshow and continue to deliver what our customers want.”
